Get Stirring for Christmas
Not only can you sample a ‘legendary’ cooked breakfast but the kids can start weighing and mixing the ingredients for this year’s Christmas puddings. Then they can finish the job: mixing and wishing, at the STIR-UP Sunday Service at the Church on the 25th November at 10.00am.

You can also order your beautifully wrapped individual Pudding at the Stir–Up Sunday Service
An Illustrated talk by The Reverend Canon Brian Pearson
Wednesdays 21 & 28 November at 7.30 at the Meadway Hall
This promises to be a fascinating look at Brian’s experience serving on the personal staff of former Archbishop of Canterbury, George Carey. With Dr Carey’s successor about to retire, he will also be reflecting upon the challenges that face the archbishops in their leading role in the Anglican Church.
The Reverend Sharon Walker is keen to get to know more people in the Parish and it will be an opportunity for members of the village to meet her in an informal setting.
All are welcome, so do come along.
Sharon will also be in the Parish at least one Wednesday a month from 2.30-4.00pm for an informal get-together, open to anyone.
The next date is 14 Nov at The Beacon, Peak Lane 2.30-4.00pm.
